ext. ucla royce hall - late afternoon
A short, but rambunctious and ever-curious young woman, SARA ASHLEY BEIL (22), emerges from the doors of Royce Hall and cheerily greets the MYSTERIOUS READER.
Hello Mysterious Reader! My name is Sara Ashley Beil and I'm here to make you a story. No, not "tell" you a story. Make. So many people consider themselves "storytellers" that I've grown sick of the word. I want to do more than tell stories. I want to make them happen myself.
My philosophy is simple: lead an extraordinary life and you'll make extraordinary stories.
Now, you may be asking yourself, "Who the hell are you and why are you having a fictional conversation with me through my computer screen?" High-ho, what a coincidence that we're thinking the same thing! Let me tell you a little about myself.
I received my Bachelor's in English from UCLA with a minor in film and theater. I have written a variety of one acts, full-length plays, musical numbers, short stories, and short films. Check out a few out and let me know what you think! If you like what you see, feel free to shoot me an email. If you don't, well, this is awkward...
So let's get out and not just tell stories -- let's make them.
